About the Architecture Society

The Architecture Society exists to support and enhance architectural education at El Paso Community College.

We aim to foster collaboration among students, encourage professional development, and create meaningful connections between EPCC and the broader El Paso design community.

What We Do

Each semester, the Society organizes:

  • Guest lectures with local and regional professionals

  • Student-focused workshops and discussions

  • Social events that build community within the program

  • A year-end banquet recognizing student growth and engagement

These activities complement the EPCC studio curriculum and create

opportunities for students to interact with practicing architects and allied professionals.

Leadership

The Society is led by elected student officers from the EPCC Architecture program, working in collaboration with faculty guidance to ensure organization, continuity, and alignment with academic goals.

The EPCC Architecture Path

The EPCC Architecture program follows a structured progression from Design Studio I through Design Studio IV.

This sequence provides students in El Paso with a strong academic foundation as they prepare for transfer opportunities and future professional pathways.
